Work from home jobs are becoming extremely popular.  It is not surprising.  Who doesn’t want to work from home if they can make the same pay or even more?  In fact, I think I would be willing to take a pay cut to stay at home and work!

According to Fundera, 3.7 million people work from home.  The number of people working from home has grown by 115 percent since 2005, and this excludes self-employed individuals.

People who work from home are, for example, more productive, make more money in some cases, and are less stressed.

4.  Take Online Surveys

Another way to work from home is to take online surveys.  I routinely make more than 100 dollars per month, just casually doing surveys.

There are many different survey sites out there, but my recommendations are Survey Junkie and Swagbucks.  Check them out; you have nothing to lose to sign up and test the waters.

Also, surveys aren’t the only way to earn on Swagbucks. You can earn money by watching videos, shopping, playing games, and more!

If you are a stay at home parent and spend more time than I do completing some online surveys, you can make some decent extra income. It won’t be enough to live off of by any means though.

5.  Facebook Advertising Specialist

Did you know that businesses hire people to manage their Facebook advertising?  I wouldn’t suggest doing this blindly, but there are plenty of online courses out there to teach you the ins and outs of advertising on Facebook.

When you are first starting, or if you don’t know how to get started in this, look for small local businesses in your area who aren’t taking advantage of Facebook ads.  You can easily make $1,000 to $2,000 per month doing this.

What is transcription you ask?  It is simple; you listen to audio files and type what you hear.

Transcribing can be tedious work at times.  For example, the audio files you listen to can be inferior quality sometimes.

Other times it could be that the speaker has a very thick accent or speaks very poorly.

The pay for transcribing can vary, but you can make upwards of $25 per hour with legal work making even more.

Often you will be paid in an audio hour, however, and is not the same as a regular hour.  An audio hour means you will be paid for every hour of audio you transcribe.

11.  Flip Items

Flipping items can be fun and quite profitable.  However, if you don’t buy the right pieces, you won’t make much money.  I recommend you do your research before purchasing items to flip.

Where do you buy stuff to flip?  Garage sells, flea markets, and auctions are all great places to start.

My lovely wife used to go to a weekly auction where we previously lived.  She would spend anywhere from $20 to $100 at the auction buying stuff and resell those items for a substantial profit.

Keep in mind though, we had a plethora of items in MY garage that sat for a very long time because they didn’t sell.  My wife, the household flipping expert, will probably argue with me, but I think those items just weren’t the right kind of things to try and flip.
